REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

• Open to Filipino and Filipino-Chinese candidates who are fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both Mandarin and English.
• Must be a licensed attorney in at least one jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in the related field.
• Preferably with 1–4 years of experience in commercial contract drafting and review.
• Strong ability to multitask, organize, plan, and prioritize tasks, including monitoring processes, deliverables, and related documentation.
• Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly and accurately analyze information, assess issues, and make sound decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment and open to peer review processes.
• Proficient in using computers and business tools, including CLM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts (e.g., NDA, MSA, SOW, licensing agreements).
• Perform contract abstraction by extracting key legal terms, clauses, and obligations.
• Identify legal risks, inconsistencies, and compliance issues within contracts.
• Ensure all documents comply with client requirements and legal standards.
• Translate and interpret legal documents between Mandarin and English when required.
• Maintain accurate legal records and update contract management systems.
• Support contract lifecycle management and legal operations processes.
• Collaborate with global legal teams and stakeholders across different regions.
• Assist in legal projects such as contract migration, audits, and due diligence.
