Front-End Web Developer

We’re seeking a skilled Front End Web Developer to join our growing team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). The focus of this role is building responsive, user-friendly web pages based on provided designs — not design creation. The candidate will also be responsible for managing our MemberPress environment and ensuring seamless integration with key marketing tools. This is a part-time role initially, with a 3-month review to assess fit and potential for transition into a full-time position. About the role:

• Build web pages and landing pages from provided Figma (or similar) design files using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain WordPress sites, including custom theme setup and updates.
• Accurately translate designs into responsive, mobile-friendly builds.
• Manage and maintain MemberPress — including memberships, access rules, payments, and plugin updates.
• Set up and manage integrations with ActiveCampaign, Calendly, Zapier, and CRM forms.
• Monitor and optimize website speed, usability, and technical SEO basics.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and design teams.
• Troubleshoot plugin conflicts and manage basic site updates.
• Manage project timelines and communicate proactively.

About you:

• Proven experience in WordPress front-end development and custom themes.
• Strong technical skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience working from design files (e.g., Figma) — no creative design required.
• Solid experience managing MemberPress environments.
• Familiarity with ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Calendly, and CRM form integrations.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Portfolio showcasing responsive WordPress projects (with membership functionality preferred).
• Availability for consistent 20 hours per week.
