Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the completion of mandatory and company prerequisites for lined-up sea personnel.
- Coordinate and monitor the renewal of expiring or expired documents and certificates for joining or onboard sea personnel.
- Coordinate with the Training Section for statutory, in-house trainings, and pre-departure orientation seminars as directed by the superior.
- Assist in endorsing crew for Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME).
- Assist in preparing required documents for sea staff performance evaluations, promotions, and other personnel movements.
- Liaise with the Training Section regarding additional training needs of sea staff as directed by the superior.
- Scan and upload certificates and other pertinent crewing documents of sea personnel in the Telecomputers system.
- Prepare POEA employment contracts.
- Prepare flag and visa applications as required.
- Send advance copies of released flag documents.
- Maintain electronic scanned copies of 201 files in shared files.
- Handle cash advances and liquidation for crew documentation processes.
- Assist in crew change planning and execution of required crew documentation processes.
- Endorse crew working gears.
- Perform other related duties as required and any other tasks assigned or delegated by Management/GM.
