Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and kitchen equipment by hand
- Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, trash bins, and washing stations
- Assist in basic kitchen cleaning duties before, during, and after service
- Dispose of garbage and recycling according to health and safety regulations
- Restock cleaning supplies and inform supervisors when supplies are low
- Support kitchen staff with cleaning tasks as needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or kitchen helper is an advantage but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy kitchen equipment when necessary
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- Team player with a positive attitude
Work Conditions
- Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
