Accounting Manager - Financial Reporting & Compliance

Role Overview
- Develop, implement, and manage the company’s overall accounting strategies and operations in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable financial reporting standards.
- Plan and implement tax strategies throughout the fiscal year to ensure compliance and improve tax management.
- Regularly assess existing accounting practices and procedures and recommend improvements to enhance the overall accounting cycle.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely preparation of accounting records and month-end closing activities.
- Provide management with financial recommendations and insights to support short-term and long-term financial goals and business objectives.
- Review and analyze monthly financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
- Conduct regular account audits to ensure compliance with government regulations and coordinate with external auditors when necessary.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure the proper implementation and integration of accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with outsourced accounting firms and external partners on specific accounting and finance-related projects.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- At least 2 years of experience as an Accounting Manager and 4 years of experience as a Senior Accounting Supervisor.
- A minimum of 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, including people management experience.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
