As a Linux Systems Engineer...
You'll be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to our MSP partners and their clients.
Ideal Technical Profile
Minimum 5+ years (preferred) administering Linux server environments
Has strong practical experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
Has worked within an Infrastructure Support, Systems Administration, NOC, SOC, Managed Services, or Cloud Operations environment
Is comfortable supporting multiple clients simultaneously
Enjoys troubleshooting complex Linux systems issues
Has experience with automation and configuration management
Understands the importance of documentation, process adherence, and customer service
Can work independently while collaborating within a team environment

Linux Administration
Strong experience with:
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
o Linux server provisioning
o Operating system hardening
o OS patching and upgrades
o Security maintenance
o User and permission management
o Performance troubleshooting
o Incident resolution
Linux Services
Experience supporting core services such as:
Web services (Web, Application and Database Servers, LAMP/LEMP Stacks, REST API’s, Reverse Proxy & Load Balancing)
File services (NFS, Samba/SMB, FTP & SFTP, Cloud & Object Storage Integration)
Authentication services (PAM, LDAP, AD, IdM, SSSD, Kerberos, SSH Keys, CA’s)
Networking Fundamentals
Solid understanding of:
TCP/IP
Routing
DNS
DHCP
SSH
Firewalls
Network troubleshooting
Automation
Experience with:
Ansible
Shell scripting
Infrastructure automation
Configuration management tools
Monitoring & Operations
Experience with:
Linux monitoring
Alert response
Incident management
Root cause analysis
RMM platforms (NinjaOne experience is highly desirable).
The successful candidate will support Linux server environments across on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud platforms while delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to infrastructure reliability, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
