Web Developer

The Deepspring Institute of Science and Technology is seeking a highly competent, innovative, and service-oriented IT - Web Developer Officer who shall oversee the institution’s digital infrastructure, university web systems, multimedia and marketing technology operations, and campus-wide technical support services. The position plays a vital role in strengthening institutional branding, operational efficiency, student engagement, online visibility, and digital transformation initiatives aligned with the standards of the Commission on Higher Education and the evolving demands of higher education in the Philippines.

The  IT - Web Developer Officer shall function as both a technical administrator and strategic digital communications personnel responsible for maintaining the university’s technological ecosystem, ensuring cybersecurity, improving online learning support systems, enhancing institutional marketing through multimedia content, and providing responsive technical services to administrators, faculty members, staff, and students.

LIST OF QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualifications:

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines or other closely related programs: 

· Information Technology 

· Computer Science 

· Information Systems 

· Computer Engineering 

· Software Engineering 

· Web Development 

· Multimedia Technology 

· Digital Media and Interactive Arts 

· Computer Applications 

· or equivalent technology-related field from a recognized higher education institution. 

Must possess a Master’s Degree relevant to Information Technology, Digital Systems, Educational Technology, or Technology Management, preferably: 

· Master in Information Technology (MIT) 

· Master in Computer Science (MCS) 

· Master in Information Systems 

· Master in Educational Technology 

· Master in Business Administration major in Technology Management 

· Master in Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related specialization 

· or other equivalent graduate degree aligned with institutional digital operations and higher education technology management. 

Applicants with ongoing doctoral studies or earned units in Doctor of Information Technology, Doctor of Philosophy in Information Systems, Educational Technology, or related fields shall be given an advantage.

Professional Experience

Must have a minimum of  three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience  in any combination of the following areas: 

· Web Development and Web Administration 

· IT Systems Administration 

· Network and Infrastructure Management 

· Technical Support and Helpdesk Operations 

· Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administration 

· Database and Server Management 

· Digital Marketing and Online Branding 

· Multimedia Editing and Content Production 

· Social Media Management and Analytics 

· Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Compliance 

Experience in a  college, university, educational institution, training center, or corporate academic environment  is highly preferred. 

Demonstrated experience in managing: 

· Institutional websites and digital platforms 

· Enrollment or Student Information Systems 

· Online learning systems 

· Cloud-based applications 

· Hybrid and virtual learning technologies 

· University-wide technology projects

shall be considered a strong advantage. 

Must possess proven capability in handling multiple technical and administrative responsibilities with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism, efficiency, and operational reliability.

Professional Certifications

The applicant must possess, or be willing to obtain within a prescribed period, certifications recognized by Philippine and international professional organizations relevant to Information Technology, Digital Communications, and Systems Management.
