Supply Chain Lead Analyst (Power BI)
Our Clients
Our client, a global industrial and technology enterprise, is seeking a Supply Chain Lead Analyst to join their shared services center in Metro Manila. Serving as a strategic data partner to international business leaders, this role drives the design, development, and execution of business intelligence (BI) solutions, executive dashboards, and advanced analytics across global supply chain, procurement, and inventory operations. The Senior Lead Analyst translates complex multi-source data into actionable commercial insights, directs digital transformation projects, optimizes procurement systems, and mentors analytical talent across the team.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain BI & Advanced Analytics
- Dashboard & BI Development: Lead the design, automated execution, and continuous delivery of strategic supply chain dashboards, data visualizations, and reporting suites to support global business objectives.
- Data Modeling & Trend Analysis: Analyze complex supply chain, procurement, inventory management, and supplier performance data to identify operational bottlenecks, cost-saving trends, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Data Storytelling: Translate raw transactional data into compelling, executive-level insights and data stories that influence strategic decision-making across global leadership teams.
Digital Transformation, Projects & Systems Governance
- Process Automation: Lead continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives that automate manual reporting workflows, enhance data integrity, and drive operational efficiency.
- Full SDLC Project Execution: Direct analytics project planning, business requirements gathering, solution architecture, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and stakeholder deployment.
- System Optimization & Support: Maintain and optimize enterprise supply chain applications, provide expert Tier-3 troubleshooting for analytics/data issues, and implement preventive data controls.
Global Collaboration & Strategic Mentorship
- Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with global supply chain networks, commodity managers, and procurement leaders to champion sustainable process improvements and analytics adoption.
- Talent Coaching & Training: Develop comprehensive training documentation, lead knowledge-sharing forums, and mentor associate analysts in data visualization, Power BI best practices, and analytics methodologies.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, or a related Engineering/Management field.
- Professional Tenure: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Buying, or Supply Chain Analytics.
Technical & Analytics Competencies
- BI & Data Tools: Advanced proficiency in Power BI , Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros, data modeling), and enterprise Business Intelligence platforms.
- Supply Chain Expertise: Strong domain understanding of end-to-end supply chain concepts, procurement operations, commodity management, inventory planning, and supplier evaluation.
- Analytics Techniques: Proven experience in data mining, data manipulation, continuous improvement methodologies, and data visualization best practices.
Leadership & Interpersonal Attributes
- Stakeholder Influence: Verified ability to engage and influence global cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership through data-driven insights.
- Project Management: Track record of managing multiple project priorities, requirements gathering, and UAT deployments in a fast-paced environment.
- Mentorship (Preferred): Prior experience coaching, upskilling, or formal training of junior analytics team members is a strong plus.
