FILLING MACHINE OPERATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS:

Machine Start-up

1.Prepares and checks quality of all the materials needed

for the scheduled operations.

2.Cleans, sanitizes and prepares the machine/s and

surrounding area before operations in accordance with standard cleaning and

start-up procedures.

3.Checks if machine/s are in good running condition.

4.Ensure less start up rejections

Machine Operation

1.Operates the machine/s in accordance with the Standard

Operating Procedures.

2.Follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety Procedures,

Company rules and regulations.

3.Performs On-line QC and checks in process / finished

product specifications on the required frequency to ensure good quality

products.

4.Conducts daily inventory of raw, packaging, cleaning

materials, consumables, and finished goods depending on machine being operated.

Reporting

1.Accomplishes and signs production reports (forms and

logbooks) and inventory reports.

2.Reports all matters affecting machine operation and

product quality to Supervisor, Production.

3.Ensures proper turnover of the machine operation to his

reliever.

4.Coordinates with other machine operators

Machine Shutdown, Cleaning and Preventive Maintenance.

1.Ensures machines are properly shutdown and all materials

(good and rejects) are properly segregated, weighed, labelled and placed in

designated areas.

2.Conducts general cleaning of machine and surroundings as

per Standard Cleaning Procedures

3.Ensures that all machine parts / accessories and tools are

in placed/ secured and machines are turned-off before leaving the area.

Others

Performs other duties as assigned.
