Quality Management Systems Head

Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing group of companies with operations in the steel manufacturing and heavy industrial fabrication industry. The company specializes in the production and fabrication of structural and decorative steel products, serving clients with demanding technical, quality, and compliance requirements. With a strong focus on manufacturing excellence, safety, and continuous improvement, our client is seeking a QMS Head to join a well-established and rapidly expanding industrial group with strong operations in steel manufacturing and heavy fabrication. This is a leadership opportunity for someone who can go beyond maintaining a quality system and actually use QMS, process excellence, risk management, and continuous improvement to improve the business.
The role will own the company's QMS, lead process standardization and improvement initiatives, strengthen audit and compliance practices, develop the quality team, and partner with Operations and other business leaders.
We're particularly interested in leaders with a strong Industrial Engineering, Quality, BPM, Lean, or Six Sigma background who have demonstrated the ability to translate quality frameworks into measurable operational improvements.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure all documented processes, procedures, work instructions, and forms are current, controlled, and effectively implemented.
• Monitor compliance with established quality standards, company policies, and
• regulatory requirements.
• Lead periodic reviews and updates of quality manuals, process documents, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and eliminate inefficiencies
• across departments.
• Facilitate process mapping, workflow analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings, process reviews, and operational data.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements.

Training and Development

• Develop and conduct QMS orientation and quality awareness programs for employees.
• Train process owners on quality standards, documentation, and continuous
• improvement methodologies.
• Promote a culture of quality and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Risk Management

• Identify operational and process risks affecting quality performance.
• Coordinate with department heads to establish mitigation plans.
• Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Cross-Functional Collaborations

• Work closely with Operations, HR, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance, and Store
• Operations to ensure consistent implementation of quality standards.
• Support new business initiatives, store openings, process rollouts, and organizational projects by ensuring QMS requirements are incorporated.

Leadership

• Lead and mentor the Quality Management team.
• Ensure department objectives are aligned with the Company's strategic direction.
• Foster accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
• Experience: At least 5-8 years of progressive experience in Quality Management, Process Excellence, or Business Process Management.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience in retail, distribution, construction materials, or home improvement industry is highly preferred.
