Your Responsibilities
- Build high quality, fault tolerant systems and products, owning all areas of implementation, frontend, backend, CI pipeline, automated test suites and operations
- Work with your product owner and business stakeholders to define the product and tech roadmaps.
- Engage with the wider engineering organization, making sure your tech roadmap aligns with the other teams.
- Designing and developing robust and scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
- Designing and developing robust web and mobile applications using Flutter..
- Writing reusable, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Implementing and maintaining APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
- Integrate APIs with front-end applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshooting and debugging production issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality standards.
- Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in Node.js and Flutter
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
- 3-5 years experience as a Flutter Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with ES6+ syntax.
- In-depth knowledge of Node.js frameworks such as Express.js and Nest.js.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
- Proficient in using databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of server-side templating languages (e.g., EJS, Pug) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest) and writing unit tests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
