Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will spend your day investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. Your role involves continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with different teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service delivery. You will engage in detailed analysis to identify root causes and implement effective solutions, contributing to the overall stability and performance of the systems you support. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues. - Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing within the team. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks. - Assist in the development and improvement of support processes and tools. - Provide timely updates and communication to stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services within Amazon Web Services. - Experience with monitoring and incident management tools to ensure system reliability. - Familiarity with automation and scripting to streamline support tasks and improve efficiency. - Ability to analyze logs and metrics to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. - Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS). - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
