We are looking for a reliable and responsible Driver to safely transport goods and/or passengers to specified destinations. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Transport Goods/Passengers: Safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or passengers to various locations in a timely manner.
- Route Planning: Follow designated routes, adjust for traffic, weather conditions, and ensure efficient and on-time delivery.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance (e.g., checking fluids, tire pressure) and report any mechanical issues.
- Load/Unload: Assist with loading and unloading cargo or goods when required, ensuring proper handling and safety.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of travel, including mileage, delivery logs, and any incidents or delays.
- Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to customers, answering questions or assisting as needed during transport.
- Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations, ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and legally compliant.
- Safety: Prioritize safety by following safe driving practices, ensuring the safety of passengers, goods, and others on the road.
- Experience: Previous experience as a driver (commercial or personal driving experience).
- License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Additional certifications may be required based on the type of vehicle.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of traffic laws and vehicle operation.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy items (if applicable).
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality, dependability, and safety.
- Communication: Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional driver training or certifications are a plus.
