Contractor Safety Engineer (Part Time)

Safety Compliance
- Implement and monitor compliance with site safety policies,DAO 2000-98 requirements, and any applicable approved safety procedures.
- Participate in and support Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Formal Risk Assessments (FRA), and verification of implemented control measures.
- Conduct safety reviews and inspections of fixed plant machinery and equipment, including guarding, isolation systems, and operational safety controls.
- Perform regular safety inspections, identify unsafe conditions, report non-conformances, and track corrective actions to closure.
- Assist in the reporting, investigation, and documentation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.

- Maintain safety records,inspection reports, and monitoring documentation required by management and regulatory authorities.
- Support toolbox talks,safety briefings, and on-site safety awareness activities.
Job Requirements
- The 40-hour BOSH training is the minimum requirement under DENR DAO 2000-98 for safety personnel in mining and mining-related operations.
- Licensed Engineer(Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil)
- At least 2 years mining related experience
- 3-5 years relevant experience in Construction
