Therapists are mental health professionals who provide guidance and support to individuals, couples, families, or groups. They use various therapeutic approaches to help clients address emotional, mental, and behavioral challenges, improve their overall well-being, and achieve personal growth.
Responsibilities :
* Conducting Therapy Sessions:
* Providing individual, couple, family, or group therapy sessions.
* Actively listening to clients, building rapport, and creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
* Assessing client needs and diagnosing mental health conditions.
* Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
* Utilizing various
* Master's degree in social work (MSW), counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Licensure and Certification:
* Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or other relevant professional license in the state of practice.
* May require additional certifications in specific therapeutic modalities or areas of specialization.
Experience:
* Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
