About the Role An Appointment Setter Backer is responsible for reaching out to prospective clients, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments that create valuable business opportunities. Our top-performing Appointment Setters are highly conversational, quick-thinking, and skilled at balancing proven scripts with authentic, human-centered interactions that move opportunities forward. Key Responsibilities Contact prospective leads and schedule qualified appointments for clients. Ensure rapid response times by reaching out to new leads promptly during designated calling hours. Qualify prospects based on established criteria, including readiness, motivation, financing, and overall fit. Conduct consistent follow-ups and nurture leads through various communication channels until appointments are secured. Respond professionally to inbound calls, text messages, and emails from prospects. Utilize approved scripts and consultative sales techniques to communicate value and effectively handle objections. Continuously develop and refine sales and communication skills through ongoing training and coaching. Accurately update and maintain customer information within the CRM system after every interaction. Coordinate and manage appointment schedules and calendars. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports. Qualifications Previous experience in appointment setting, lead generation, telemarketing, or a similar sales-focused role is required. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and delivering scripted conversations naturally and confidently. Strong active listening, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and establish rapport quickly. Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
