Job description:
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accurate recording of journal
entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing procedures in QuickBooks for
multiple client entities.
- BIR Tax Compliance: Prepare, review, and file timely BIR tax returns and related forms (e.g.,
Quarterly VAT 2550Q, Annual/Quarterly ITR 1701A/1702, Withholding Tax 2307), including
eAFS submissions and handling of installment payments or penalties where applicable.
- Bank Reconciliation & Cash Management: Conduct independent monthly and quarterly bank
reconciliations for client accounts (BPI, Union Bank, and others), investigate and resolve
discrepancies, and prepare supporting schedules.
- Financial Reporting & Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements
(AFS), trial balances, adjusting entries, and audit working papers in close coordination with
external auditors (e.g., Belle, Georg, Tish teams).
- SEC & Corporate Housekeeping: Handle SEC compliance and corporate housekeeping
tasks, including drafting board resolutions, secretary’s certificates, corporate amendments,
annual reportorial requirements, and maintaining records for both active and
dormant/non-operational entities.
- Client Billing, Reporting & Coordination: Manage client billing and collections follow-up,
maintain AR aging reports, prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly financial summaries
(profitability, revenue, billing/collections performance) using advanced Excel, and support client
communications professionall
- Process Improvement & Documentation: Maintain well-organized, centralized digital filing
systems and records in line with MBS modernization initiatives; proactively identify bottlenecks
causing delays and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce backlog.
