A barber is responsible for providing hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to clients. This includes cutting, trimming, and shaving hair, as well as offering advice on hair care. Barbers maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salon, ensuring tools and equipment are sanitized. They also build client relationships, schedule appointments, and manage payments.
- Valid barbering license
- Proven experience as a barber or stylist
- Knowledge of current hair trends and techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and use tools effectively
