Job Description

As an Acoustic Engineer , you will support the delivery of acoustic and vibration engineering projects from planning through completion. You'll conduct technical analysis, collaborate with clients and teams, and produce high-quality reports that guide project outcomes.

Shift: Day shift (Flexible start between 6:00 AM-9:00 AM); Weekends Off
Work setup: Work From Home (Target 2 days/week in office by negotiation)

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3 years of relevant experience in acoustics and vibration engineering or a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong English writing skills with the ability to produce clear and professional technical reports
• Experience working on Australian projects is highly preferred; exposure to US or UK projects is also acceptable
• Familiarity with acoustic modelling tools such as INSUL, SoundPLAN, Odeon, or similar is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Willingness to learn, develop technical skills, and grow within the role

Your Daily Tasks

• Support the delivery of small to medium-sized projects from planning through completion
• Conduct acoustic and vibration analysis and produce technical reports and recommendations
• Assist in maintaining client communication to align with project goals
• Provide technical input to support project requirements and solutions
• Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to support project delivery
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and client use
• Assist in managing timelines and deliverables to meet deadlines
• Use industry-standard software such as INSUL, SoundPLAN, and Odeon for modelling and analysis
• Contribute to process improvements, internal standards, and quality initiatives
• Participate in research, development, and continuous learning activities
• Maintain professionalism and contribute to a collaborative team environment
