Position Summary:

The UAV Systems Engineer provides technical support in the integration, configuration, testing, and documentation of UAV systems. This role focuses on flight control systems, system calibration, data collection, and assisting in hardware/software troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of supporting both office-based and field-based UAV systems activities while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the integration and configuration of UAV systems, including flight controllers, sensors, GNSS modules, telemetry, and remote controllers.
• Support flight control system setup, parameter tuning, and calibration under senior engineer guidance.
• Conduct system testing, data collection, post-flight analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in creating and maintaining UAV technical documentation, profiles, manuals, and test reports.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings, field tests, and project activities.
• Support preparation of UAV systems for deployment, demonstrations, and regulatory inspections.
• Learn and apply aviation safety standards, UAV regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with hardware and operations teams for system integration, testing, and optimization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Preferably Graduate of Aeronautical/Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer, or Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in circuit troubleshooting, repair, testing, and preventive maintenance , including power systems, signal integrity, and embedded electronics.
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded platforms (e.g., STM32, ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar).
• Familiarity with programming in C/C++ or Python (academic or project-based).
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Ability to read and create technical drawings, specifications, and documentation .
• Hands-on experience in UAV projects, robotics, or autonomous systems is preferred.
• Proficient in PCB and circuit design, including schematic creation, PCB layout, and design review using tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel locally for field testing and operational support.
