Assistant Engineering Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing technical teams and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of engineering activities with company objectives.
- Evaluate and improve engineering processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Manage budgeting and resource allocation for engineering projects.
- Stay updated with advancements in engineering technology and industry trends.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5 years) in a managerial or leadership role within the engineering industry.
- Strong technical expertise and knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
- Certification (e.g., PMP) or membership in a relevant professional organization is a plus.
