About the role
K&R SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga . As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for building services projects. This position is integral to our operations, ensuring that all electrical infrastructure meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. You will contribute to the technical excellence and project success that K&R SOLUTIONS INC. is known for in the building services engineering sector.Key responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems for building services applications, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications using industry-standard software and design tools
Conduct load calculations and sizing analyses for electrical components and systems
Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical designs into overall building systems
Review and validate electrical designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
Prepare bill of materials and cost estimates for electrical projects
Support project teams during installation and commissioning phases, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance
Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for system optimisation and efficiency improvements
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and design records
Stay current with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in building services engineering
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent qualification is highly desirable
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical design, preferably within building services or commercial building projects
Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, NEC, or local Philippine electrical standards
Solid understanding of building systems integration, including HVAC, fire safety, and power management systems
Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
Experience with building information modelling (BIM) or 3D design tools is preferred
Knowledge of energy-efficient design practices and sustainable building systems is a plus
