Accounting Assistant (Dumaguete, Negros Occidental, Camarines Sur, Zamboanga, Cagayan De Oro, Bacolod, Iloilo ) - Remote

This is a remote position.

n this role, the Accounting   Assistant   provides vital support to our client by performing overall accounting duties   through processing   the available financial information in   the cloud-based accounting systems of the client.    The Accounting Assistant ensures that the financial ledgers are up to date on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This   may   include, but is not limited to,   processing of sales and purchase invoices,   bank transactions,   reclassification   journals   for revenue,   recurring, accrual, and payroll entries.

Aside from that, the Accounting Assistant   participates   in the month end close process,   ensuring   timely   and   accurate   execution of the assigned   month end close tasks,   provides   assistance   to   the   client & leadership team   with   maintaining   a clean and updated general ledger, including account   reconciliations   and resolving of discrepancies.    The Accounting Assistant   also   assists   the   Operations Leadership team,   including the   Accounting SME   and Operations Management,   and/or   other team members where needed to   accomplish   the department goals, and to prepare ad-hoc reports to the management as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting   or related field of study  
  

• CPA certification is a strong plus
  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
