Warehouseman Duties and Responsibilities - Load and unload merchandise from trucks and other vehicles
- Organize and store merchandise in appropriate areas
- Transfer supplies between locations
- Perform daily inventory checks
- Receive and process incoming orders
- Package merchandise for shipment
- Keep records of shipments and inventory
- Operate powered equipment to move items
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Warehouseman Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a warehouse setting
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to operate powered equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
