Technical Sales Representative
Responsibilities:
• Building rapport; providing technical information and explanations to customers.
• Demonstrates products and services to customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
• Makes in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
• Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
• Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
• Liaises between office of in-house group and customer.
• Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items/models; explaining technical features.
• Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
• Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
• Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Skills / Qualifications:
• Graduate of any Engineering Degree courses or
• Graduate of any 4 year course with at least 2 years experience in sales preferably but not necessary
• With experience in government paper works is a plus
• Technical Understanding of Product
• People Skills
• With Pleasing personality
• Willing to travel
• With Drivers License
• Able to work late hours
• Ability to multi-task
• With high level of commitment and strong work ethics
