We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational institution in Iloilo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the academic growth of students. This position requires a commitment to student development and an ability to effectively deliver lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with other educators and staff.
- Lesson Planning & Instruction: Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the curriculum. Use various teaching methods and tools to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning, discipline, and personal development.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Monitor student progress, administer assessments, and provide feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavioral growth.
- Student Support: Provide additional academic support or remedial teaching as necessary to ensure all students can reach their full potential.
- Collaboration: Work with other faculty members, school staff, and parents to promote a positive learning atmosphere and enhance the educational experience for students.
- Professional Development: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Secondary, Primary, or Early Childhood Education, depending on subject area).
- Valid teaching certification issued by the Department of Education (DepEd).
- 1-3 years of teaching experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching and guiding students.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in teaching specific subjects (e.g., Math, Science, English, Social Studies).
- Knowledge of local and international educational standards and practices.
- Ability to teach in both English and Filipino (depending on the grade level and subject).
