About the role
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at ELECTROKONSTRUCT CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE. As a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC expertise, you will play an important role in the building industry, ensuring the design, installation, and operation of HVAC/R systems are properly fitted to meet the required specifications for old buildings being retrofitted as well as newly constructed buildings. This is a full-time position based in Antipolo City Rizal.
What you'll be doing
- Design HVAC systems for buildings like offices, clinics, and homes
- Manage humidity and maintain air quality
- Consider the structure, temperature control needs, and power output for each project
- Collaborate with other construction specialists
- Follow local and state regulations and building codes
- Oversee the fabrication and testing of systems
- Research and develop emerging technologies
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar mechanical engineering role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
- Proficient in the use of CAD software and other engineering design tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices
- Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
