Head of Platform Engineering - Permanent Work From Home

We’re looking for a senior engineering leader to build a secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient multi-tenant B2B SaaS platform.
- *Responsibilities**
- Own production architecture, repositories, data models, and releases
- Improve security, testing, integrations, and system reliability
- Manage production releases, migrations, rollbacks, and incident response
- Improve system performance, observability, and cost controls
- Lead platform hardening and technical roadmap development
- Review AI-assisted development work
- Assess platform capacity and scalability
- *Requirements**
- 8+ years of production software development experience
- Senior, Staff, or Principal-level experience
- Experience operating a multi-tenant B2B SaaS product
- Strong TypeScript, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, Postgres, and SQL skills
- Strong knowledge of multi-tenant architecture and security
- Experience with queues, retries, idempotency, and backpressure
- Experience with database migrations, monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery
- Hands-on testing and production operations experience
- Experience using AI coding agents while maintaining strong engineering standards
