Beauty Advisor

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Beauty Consultant / Beauty Advisor with experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems to join our retail team. The ideal candidate is passionate about skincare, cosmetics, and fragrance, and excels at providing personalized customer service to enhance the shopping experience. You’ll also be responsible for handling sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the store’s POS system.

• Greet and engage customers in a professional, approachable manner to assess beauty needs and recommend products.
• Provide expert advice on skincare, makeup, and fragrance products tailored to customer preferences and skin types.
• Perform product demonstrations, makeovers, and tutorials when applicable.
• Maintain product knowledge of current trends, new releases, and bestsellers across all beauty categories.
• Operate the POS system to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to overall store performance.
• Keep the sales floor and displays clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Maintain awareness of promotions, loyalty programs, and special events to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and receiving merchandise.
• Uphold hygiene standards and comply with all health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail or beauty sales preferred.
• Experience operating a POS system and handling cash/credit transactions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for the beauty industry and a genuine desire to help customers feel their best.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
