PUBLIC SAFETY SECURITY OFFICE
Security System Design and Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and monitor security measures to protect IT systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot security tools such as firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Ensure secure configurations of systems, applications, and networks.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications are often preferred.
Certifications (Optional but beneficial):
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
