MaraCare is looking for a Service Engineer to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate medical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Conduct equipment testing and safety inspections.
- Respond to customer service calls and technical concerns.
- Prepare and maintain service documents, reports, job orders, quotations, maintenance records, and other required paperwork.
- Ensure all service documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed.
- Monitor and follow up on pending service requests, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Respond to service-related emails, inquiries, and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with customers, hospitals, clinics, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers.
- Provide technical support and basic user training when needed.
- Maintain records of equipment history, repairs, parts used, and service activities.
- Travel to customer sites as required.
- Perform other technical and administrative tasks related to equipment servicing.
- Ensure all demo and rental units are in tip-top working condition—free from faults or excessive wear and functioning as intended.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related course.
- Experience in medical equipment servicing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented, especially with documentation and paperwork.
- Able to communicate professionally through email and with customers.
- Willing to travel and work on-site.
- Very good moral character.
- Biomedical Equipment Services NCII or related TESDA Training.
- Can Drive 2 Wheels and 4 Wheels
