Weaver

A weaver operates weaving machines or looms to produce fabric by interlacing threads or yarns in a specific pattern. The role involves selecting appropriate materials, setting up machines, monitoring the weaving process, and inspecting finished products for quality. Weavers may also troubleshoot machine issues and adjust settings to ensure proper weaving.

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in textiles is a plus.

Basic knowledge of textile materials and weaving techniques.

Ability to operate weaving machines and equipment.

Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or patterns.

Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
