ROLE PURPOSE
The Operational Readiness Analyst ensures that new AVIT services, monitoring tools, meeting room technologies, operational processes and platform enhancements are fully prepared for transition into Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations.
The role acts as the operational bridge between Engineering, Project Teams, Product Owners, Monitoring Teams and Meeting Room Operations. It coordinates the completion of support processes, monitoring requirements, documentation, training, operational controls and acceptance evidence before ownership is transferred to Operations. The role supports the introduction of new technologies while minimizing risk and disruption to live services.

Role Overview
The Operational Readiness Analyst coordinates readiness activities from early project engagement through go-live, hypercare, stabilization and formal BAU handover. The role maintains readiness plans, tracks actions and dependencies, validates operational artefacts and supports evidence-based acceptance decisions for Meeting Room Operations and monitoring-related transitions.
Key Accountabilities
1. Operational Readiness and Service Transition
•    Coordinate operational-readiness activities for new meeting room technologies, monitoring platforms, service enhancements and operational processes.
•    Support the controlled transition of new tools, products and services from Engineering and Project Teams into Operations.
•    Maintain readiness plans and track milestones, actions, risks, assumptions, dependencies and acceptance criteria.
•    Validate that operational prerequisites and sign-off requirements are complete before BAU handover.
•    Support go-live, hypercare, stabilization and transition-closure activities.
2. Meeting Room Operations Readiness
•    Validate operational support requirements for Microsoft Teams Rooms, room peripherals, room-management solutions and AV services.
•    Ensure onboarding, support ownership, escalation pathways, operational procedures and acceptance evidence are established before transition.
•    Coordinate readiness activities related to device onboarding, replacement, upgrades, platform changes and new service introductions.
•    Confirm that support boundaries, responsibilities and handover arrangements are clear to all involved teams.
•    Support operational acceptance of new meeting room technologies entering production support.
3. Monitoring and Telemetry Readiness
•    Coordinate monitoring readiness before a service or technology enters BAU support.
•    Validate monitoring coverage, alert definitions, routing, escalation workflows, dashboards and reporting requirements.
•    Work with Monitoring Operations, Engineering and Product Teams to improve actionable alerting and operational visibility.
•    Confirm that required monitoring access, tool configuration, queues and ownership arrangements are in place.
•    Support initiatives to reduce alert noise, improve proactive detection and strengthen service-health reporting.
4. Documentation and Knowledge Management
•    Coordinate the creation and approval of operational runbooks, standard operating procedures, support guides, knowledge articles and troubleshooting documentation.
•    Validate that documentation reflects the production environment and clearly defines operational ownership and escalation routes.
•    Ensure readiness artefacts are stored, maintained and accessible to support teams.
•    Track completion of documentation and knowledge requirements for operational acceptance.
5. Training and Capability Readiness
•    Coordinate knowledge-transfer sessions between Engineering, Vendors, Project Teams, Monitoring Teams and Meeting Room Operations.
•    Track training completion and maintain supporting evidence where required.
•    Identify capability gaps and coordinate actions to prepare Operations for service ownership.
•    Ensure regional and global support teams receive the information required to support transitioned services.
6. Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination
•    Act as a central coordination point for operational-readiness activities across technical, project and operational stakeholders.
•    Facilitate readiness reviews, transition meetings and action-tracking sessions.
•    Liaise with OEMs and vendors to confirm support arrangements, escalation paths and required technical artefacts.
•    Provide concise updates covering readiness status, dependencies, risks, blockers, decisions and next actions.
7. Risk, Governance and Continuous Improvement
•    Maintain readiness risk, issue, action and dependency records and drive actions to closure.
•    Escalate material gaps with clear evidence, operational impact and recommended actions.
•    Participate in post-transition reviews and capture lessons learned.
•    Identify opportunities to standardize or automate onboarding, monitoring, reporting and operational-acceptance activities.
•    Contribute to service-improvement initiatives that increase reliability, supportability and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience and Knowledge
•    Experience in IT Operations, Service Management, Operational Readiness, Service Transition or Technology Operations.
•    Working knowledge of enterprise meeting room technologies, Microsoft Teams Rooms or AV support environments.
•    Experience with monitoring platforms, alert management, operational reporting or device-management processes.
•    Understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, Request and Knowledge Management practices.
•    Ability to coordinate actions across Engineering, Projects, Product Teams, Vendors and Operations.
•    Strong documentation, organization, stakeholder communication and status-reporting skills.
•    Ability to manage multiple transitions, dependencies and deadlines in a global operating environment.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in information technology, engineering, telecommunications, service management or a related discipline.
•    Relevant ITIL, Microsoft, project-management or vendor certification.
•    Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune, Power BI, monitoring platforms or operational reporting tools.
•    Experience supporting global meeting room, workplace technology, unified communications or endpoint operations.

•    New meeting room and monitoring services transition into BAU with agreed readiness evidence and ownership.
•    Operational prerequisites, documentation, knowledge transfer and monitoring requirements are completed before acceptance.
•    Post-go-live support gaps, avoidable incidents and escalations are reduced.
•    Readiness actions, risks and dependencies are visible and progressed within agreed timelines.
•    Monitoring coverage, alert routing and operational visibility are fit for purpose at go-live.
•    Transition lessons result in measurable improvements to future operational-readiness activities.
