Actuarial Senior Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance actuarial models to support valuation, financial reporting, and business analysis.
- Perform actuarial calculations, analyses, and reporting in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial, risk, and actuarial results to identify trends, key drivers, and business impacts.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support stakeholder decision-making and reporting requirements.
- Review, validate, and reconcile data used in actuarial analyses and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives, regulatory submissions, audits, and special projects.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members while promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with governance standards, internal controls, and reporting requirements.
- Deliver high-quality project and operational outputs by meeting established timelines and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience in actuarial analysis, financial modeling, risk assessment, valuation, or related functions.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis or reporting tools.
- Knowledge of actuarial principles, financial concepts, statistical methods, or risk management practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated collaboration, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Progress toward professional actuarial exams, certifications, or relevant credentials is an advantage.
