Civil & Structural Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
Licensed Civil Engineer with a valid PRC license.
At least 2–5 years of experience in structural engineering, construction, or structural retrofitting.
Experience in structural assessment, strengthening, rehabilitation, and retrofitting of existing structures is preferred.
Knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and other structural systems.
Proficient in reading and interpreting structural drawings, design calculations, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of structural analysis software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or SAP2000; AutoCAD proficiency is an advantage.
Familiarity with applicable building codes, structural design standards, and construction safety requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze, design, and evaluate structural systems for construction, retrofitting, and structural strengthening projects.
Conduct structural assessments and inspections to identify defects, damage, and potential structural risks.
Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Recommend appropriate structural strengthening and rehabilitation solutions based on site conditions and engineering requirements.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, QA/QC, Planning, and site teams to ensure proper implementation of structural designs.
Conduct site visits to verify existing structural conditions and ensure that construction works comply with approved plans and specifications.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents related to structural works.
Provide technical guidance and resolve structural engineering issues encountered during project execution.
Ensure compliance with applicable structural standards, building codes, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
Monitor structural work quality and recommend corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
Assist in preparing technical proposals, project documentation, and recommendations for structural retrofitting works.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
