Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Horeca Sales team. This role will focus on selling our high-quality frozen meat products to B2B customers, including distributors, wholesalers, and commercial foodservice establishments. As the Sales Representative, you will play a key role in growing our market share, maintaining existing client relationships, and expanding our customer base.
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the meat supply sector. Actively generate new leads and pursue sales opportunities with distributors, wholesalers, supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients. Provide tailored solutions based on customer needs and ensure excellent service to promote repeat business.
- Stay up-to-date on the range of meat products we offer, both frozen and processed, to effectively promote and upsell to customers. Advise clients on product specifications, quality, and benefits.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to achieve sales targets while ensuring profitability for the company.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and competitors. Regularly report sales activities, progress, and challenges to the Sales Manager.
- Work closely with the operations, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product delivery, customer satisfaction, and effective promotions.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the food industry (meat products or similar).
- Strong knowledge of the B2B sales process and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed (if applicable).
- A passion for the food industry and delivering high-quality products to clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the frozen food or meat industry is a plus.
- Established network of contacts in the foodservice, wholesale, or retail sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
