The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
- Greet customers warmly and respond to inquiries.
- Operate cash registers, scanners, credit card/debit card terminals, and other POS equipment.
- Process transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash, make change, and balance the cash register drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those for security and loss prevention.
- Graduate of Accounting/ Finance/ Business Management
- Prior cashier is a plus but not required
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
