- Prepare and display meat products: Cut, trim, and bone various types of meat (beef, pork, poultry) according to customer requests and store standards. Prepare and display meat products attractively in the meat counter.
- Provide customer service: Assist customers with meat selection, provide product information and cooking suggestions, and answer customer questions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment: Ensure the meat department is clean, sanitized, and organized. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Strong knife skills: Proficiency in using various knives (e.g., boning knives, cleavers) to cut, trim, and bone meat accurately and efficiently.
- Meat knowledge: In-depth knowledge of different types of meat cuts, their characteristics, and appropriate preparation methods.
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (e.g., carcasses, boxes of meat), and perform physically demanding tasks.
