Description - Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to maintain high quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and optimize inventory management.
- Assist in managing import/export operations, particularly with suppliers from China.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles in retail, trading, or the food industry are highly preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in canvassing/purchasing, negotiation, and vendor management.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong inventory management capabilities.
- Skills and Competencies: Familiarity with export/import processes, especially with China.
- Qualities and Traits: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Working Conditions: Office-based with occasional travel for supplier meetings and site visits.
