Quality Assurance Specialist

Abbott seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality system activities and regulatory compliance at its Philippines diagnostic manufacturing site. The role focuses on document control, training, complaints, nonconformances, CAPA, and supplier oversight within a global healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain quality system effectiveness across assigned subsystems
- Participate in CAPA, training, audits, equipment maintenance, and validation activities
- Manage complaints, deviations, change requests, and nonconformance records
- Support regulatory compliance and internal/external audit preparation
- Drive process improvements and maintain quality metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related scientific discipline
- 2+ years quality assurance or regulatory compliance experience in manufacturing
- 4 years relevant experience in assigned quality subsystems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; technical report writing ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, available for flexible scheduling
