The Category Buyer is responsible for the end-to-end procurement cycle and inventory management for St. Joseph Drug. This role ensures that the company maintains optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory while managing vendor relationships, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery of merchandise to branches.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Pharmacist , with Buyer experience preferred and considered an advantage.
- Experience: 2-3+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, logistics, or inventory management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel is required) and familiar with inventory management software/ERP systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
