- Job Description
- A Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential and existing customers, and driving sales to meet or exceed company revenue targets. They act as the face of the company, promoting products or services and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to potential and existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Achieve sales targets and outcomes within the agreed time frame.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Attend sales training and team meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Job Requirements
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales/customer service role.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to establish rapport quickly with clients and build long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of the industry and products/services being sold.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients or attend events.
- Valid driver’s license (if travel is required).
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
