- Conduct electrical system installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial and residential settings.
- Ensure compliance with national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues with analytical problem-solving.
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate electrical systems effectively.
- Provide customer service and educate clients on electrical system care and maintenance.
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; certified electrician; completion of an apprenticeship program.
- Experience Level: At least 3-5 years of experience in electrical work; familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical systems; adept at using hand tools and electrical equipment; knowledge of safety protocols.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures; ensure that work complies with current codes; read and interpret blueprints/diagrams.
- Working Conditions: Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor settings; willingness to work on-call for emergencies; may involve lifting heavy objects and working at heights.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, reliable, communicates effectively, good problem-solving skills, and works well under pressure.
