Key Responsibilities: Senior Lead Technician
I. Technical Expertise & Operations
- Perform advanced installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct detailed diagnostics and root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are performed according to technical standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Review, interpret, and create accurate technical drawings, schematics, and service reports.
- Maintain and calibrate tools, testing devices, and specialized equipment to ensure precision and safety.
- Provide expert guidance on selecting appropriate materials, methods, and tools for projects.
- Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and recommend improvements to optimize system performance.
II. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance, providing feedback and technical direction as needed.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Coordinate with project managers and other departments to align technical work with operational goals.
- Maintain open communication with management, clients, and vendors to ensure clarity in project expectations and progress.
III. Project & Workflow Management
- Plan and oversee technical projects, from resource allocation to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets.
- Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and maintenance logs for accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate completed work to ensure adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Participate in equipment commissioning, system upgrades, and technical audits.
IV. Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Enforce strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and industry compliance standards.
- Ensure team awareness and application of proper safety procedures and PPE usage.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and certifications.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Support continuous professional development through training, certifications, and technical updates.
