Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares payment requests and secures approvals from the appropriate signatories.
Lodges investment transactions through PDTC and obtains the necessary endorsements and approvals within prescribed deadlines.
Coordinates with external brokers and internal departments to ensure the timely settlement of investment transactions.
Prepares requests for the issuance of Official Receipts covering stock sales, cash dividends and preferred share dividends
Maintains and reconciles stock ledgers to ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of investment records.
Prepares and submits beneficial ownership reports to partner banks, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
Conducts investment research, financial statement analysis, and industry assessments of publicly listed companies to support investment decisions and portfolio management strategies.
Prepares and submits documentary requirements related to cash and stock dividends, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and prescribed submission deadlines.
Provides monthly market updates to superiors, covering key economic developments, corporate announcements, and market trends.
Coordinates with brokers regarding market developments, investment opportunities and stock recommendations.
Represents the department in market briefings, investor forums, and annual stockholders’ meetings to keep abreast of market developments and corporate governance matters.
Maintains and organizes equity investment files and related documentation, ensuring proper record management and regulatory compliance.
Prepares petty cash reimbursements and payment requests for departmental overhead and other operating expenses.
Qualifications:
Graduate of bachelor's degree from a reputable college or university with major in any finance, economics, accounting and business course.
