Engine Fitter

We are looking for 7 Engine Fitters to join our growing fleet!
Qualification:
- At least 1 year experience as Engine Fitter (or equivalent) on international trade.
Job Description:
Main Duties
- Receive job orders from Second Engineer and work observing safe working practices at all times.
- Take Fuel Oil and Diesel Oil tank soundings when required.
- Work on deck or any part of the vessel when required.
- Assist in mooring operations as required.
Safety and Security
- Comply with onboard instructions regarding safety and pollution prevention as defined in the Company Safety, Security and Quality Management Policy.
- Assist in Security Duties as required by Ship Security Officer (SSO).
- Observe safe working practices at all times.
- Ensure hot work is performed following the Company's procedures.
Maintenance and Repair
- Assist in maintenance, overhauls and repairs of the Main Engine and other machinery.
- Fabricate or repair machinery parts that are possible to fix using workshop equipment.
