About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Merchandiser to join our team at CELBERT GENERAL MERCHANDISE INC. in Silang, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in enhancing our customers' shopping experience. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for efficiently and professionally organizing company items, ensuring that items are handled with care and presented in an organized manner. This role is essential to our retail operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our store.
Job Summary
The Merchandiser ensures that shelves are fully stocked, clean, correctly priced, and appealing. This role supports inventory accuracy (95% target), fast replenishment, and an excellent shopping experience.
Detailed Job Description
Merchandisers work across all store sections, replenishing stocks, maintaining planograms, conducting expiry checks, and ensuring price accuracy. They work closely with the inventory team, receiving team, and cashiers to maintain store readiness at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish shelves and ensure adherence to proper planograms.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment from the warehouse.
- Conduct expiry and damage checks daily (FIFO/FEFO).
- Ensure correct and updated price tags.
- Assist in receiving deliveries when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of aisles.
Qualifications
- SHS graduate or college level
- Retail or merchandising experience preferred
- Residing near or within Silang, Cavite
Compensation and Benefits
- Daily wage of ₱550.00
- Coverage under all government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG)
- Leave credits in accordance with company policy and applicable labor regulations
