Surveyor

About the role

Responsible for carrying out construction surveying and setting-out activities for high-rise building projects, including control network establishment, elevation transfers, grid line verification, as-built surveys, and settlement monitoring. Review construction drawings, identify dimensional discrepancies, perform geometric calculations, and provide accurate positioning data to ensure compliance with approved plans and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out construction surveying and setting-out activities for high-rise building projects

• Establish control networks, perform elevation transfers, and verify grid lines

• Conduct as-built surveys and settlement monitoring

• Review construction drawings and identify dimensional discrepancies

• Perform geometric calculations and provide accurate positioning data

• Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments

• Prepare survey reports and documentation

• Ensure all measurements meet required tolerances

• Provide technical guidance to survey crews and coordinate with engineers, consultants, client representatives, and subcontractors

• Resolve on-site surveying issues

About you

• 3 to 5 years of experience in high-rise construction surveying

• Bachelor's Degree in Geodetic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field

• Strong knowledge of civil, architectural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical drawings

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Proficient in operating total stations, digital levels, laser levels, and other surveying instruments

• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and survey data processing software
