Our Consumer Lending Team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of  Developer / UAT Tester - Credit Decision Engine .

In this role, you will drive the launch and continuous improvement of the Loan Origination Solutions system, ensuring automation of credit policies and loan approvals across Cards, Personal Loans, Auto Loans, and Mortgage Loans. You will also champion credit process optimization by working together with the Credit Policy Team and Credit Operations team to identify initiatives to streamline and improve current credit-related processes.

What the role will entail

• Design, develop and maintain loan application system and auxiliary systems according to business requirements and techinical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
• Perform system analysis to understand requirements, propose solutions, and translate business needs into technical designs, as well as debug, test, and troubleshoot software issues to ensure stability, performance, and reliability.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Rest API development, Java, Python, and MySQL (must-have).
• Knowledge of Angular JS, Apache Web Server, Redis Stack, and Azure/AWS (nice-to-have).
• Familiarity with the banks Credit Operations process is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical skills in creating and refining computer codes.
• Solid problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to scope, structure, and resolve complex issues with practical solutions.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams; prior team leadership experience is a plus.
