We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register, process payments, and issue receipts to customers.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean and organized.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile at the end of each shift.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
- Assist with stocking shelves and ensuring product availability.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues or concerns as needed.
- Follow all company procedures and policies, including security and privacy guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
